Last year Juho Pohjonen made his debuts with the Los Angeles Philharmonic conducted by Lionel Bringuier and the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra under Hugh Wolff. In his Hollywood Bowl debut, Juho performed Esa-Pekka Salonen’s electrifying and staggeringly difficult Piano Concerto on 21 July. Four days later he appeared with the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra to perform Beethoven’s Piano Concerto No 3 in C minor.
